Sisters and Brothers,
We were informed this last week that the fiber connection to the church building was mistakenly but significantly damaged by a contractor working at the building. This means that we will not have an internet connection at the church building for several weeks—likely as long as a month. Consequently, we will be unable to broadcast our sacrament meetings until the connection is restored.
I must also note that with the broadcast being unavailable, we will take this opportunity to adjust our sacrament meeting schedule back to the pre-pandemic format where the sacrament will be administered at the beginning of the meeting, just after ward business. We encourage all members to be mindful of this change and make all reasonable plans and efforts to get to church on time in order to be present for the administration of the sacrament.
We continue to see miracles and mercies in the lives of members throughout our ward and stake that witness to the fact that our Father in Heaven remains mindful of us and seeks to bless us amid our trials. In the words of the psalmist, truly “all the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and testimonies” (Psalms 25:10).
